It’s been a while since I posted.. alot has been going on here.
First of all we are expecting baby #6 due Nov 10th and I had HORRIBLE sickness for the first 4 months. I am 27 weeks preggo now and that has thankfully gone away..replaced by more fun symptoms. We are thankful for this lil guy (it will be a boy) but I think my body is about done.
Also we bought a new house so currently are trying to get that one ready to move into and this one ready for my mother in law(we decided not to sell it because we farm the land so she is going to be renting it from us).
Also, I have been working from home more so that has been crazy too.
Anyway, my goal is to start posting more frequently. God has been good to us and helping me through the craziness around here.
Life has been insanely crazy lately and I have not had a spare moment to write a thing. Between the normal day to day Mama routine I am bottle feeding three newborn goats and let me tell ya that’s a job!
I just wanted to touch base to remind everyone to pray for the tornado victims of Friday’s tornado. My husband (lineman) has been called out working the storm and the devastation is unbelievable. I hear stories that breaks my heart.
If you feel the need to give (they are needing food, clothing, diapers formula, etc I know Piner Baptist Church in Piner, Ky is helping the victims as well as Grant County High School In Dry Ridge, Ky.
There are other places such as West Liberty, Ky where my dad (also a lineman has been on storm duty). I don’t know who in that area is handling relief but if you contact your local Red Cross they can point you in the right direction.
It seems just as I start to feel overwhelmed by day to day life, God reminds me how blessed I really am.
I am so confused on peoples’ mind set now days. The above article says it all…
I found this article this morning when I came across a website called Meta Picture…I like to always link back if I use something but be cautioned…Some of the stuff on there has bad words I noticed…but this was clean and RANG SO TRUE.
Sorry but wanted to get your attention…Thought the above pic would be a GREAT use of that old tub lurking around church.
We all have our methods to get inspired…and we all have our areas that need inspiration…
How do you get inspired?
What is your inspiration?
As much as it pleases God to bless you, there will be moments when everything you try goes up in smoke. There will be moments when you are left groping through blinding tears and wailing questions of why. Plans and goals can be circumvented by the most disappointing of times, leaving you learning the art of patience and the acceptance of a denied request.

I thought we were over the plague…A.K.A. stomach flu….and I came down with it Saturday. There has been a whole lot of sickness here this year, but thank God nothing too serious…just disappointing. We have so far had sickness for Christmas Eve Service, Christmas Service, the New Years overnighter, and the first day of SOMA 😦
It’s disappointing to look forward to something (like the first day of SOMA) and something like sickness gets in the way.
It’s disappointing to plan…and plan…and plan…and then someone tells you to change your plans. (My well-meaning husband but aggravating and our house building-never-ending project)
I have definitely been disappointed lately…but that is the beauty of God. His plans are not always our plans. And what would be good and does not come can turn out to become something great instead.
Not really sure how me being sick and having to miss the first SOMA (SIGH) will turn out to be great…still waiting on that …but I will keep you posted. LOL 🙂
Well I have been MIA from pretty much everything lately…including blogging but I am back YAY!!
After an attack of the flu on my family starting on Christmas Eve and lasting until last friday (with 7 people sharing its an on going event) I am happy to say we are all finally well! YAY again!
So nothing to exciting to write…trust me you don’t want the details but see ya back here tomorrow! 🙂
Oh and belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
